About KPC
A Bible-teaching church in Brisbane’s west, seeking to grow followers of Jesus.
Our story
KPC began as a church plant in January 2006 and is part of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. We welcome people from Presbyterian, other church and non-church backgrounds.
What are we aiming for?
We want to grow in knowing Jesus, grow in living for Jesus and grow in making Jesus known.
Church life involves many people serving in many ways — teaching children, leading Youth and Growth Groups, music, meals, setup, welcome and much more.
Ministry team
Steve Blencowe · Minister
Steve and Lyndel and their family helped start KPC. Steve is keen to see healthy, growing, Bible-teaching churches across Brisbane. Before Kenmore he served at Acacia Ridge Presbyterian Church and trained through Ministry Training Strategy and Moore College.
Sam Hemming · Assistant Minister
Sam joined KPC after serving at Mitchelton Presbyterian Church and studying at Queensland Theological College. He is married to Bek and they have four daughters.
Liam Black · Student Minister
Liam joined KPC in July 2026 while studying at Queensland Theological College, with an interest in future mission and Bible-translation ministry.
Leadership
KPC is served by Ministers and Elders, together with a Committee of Management that looks after financial and property matters.
